Offer was accepted, however just realized that the house was finished
without permit. Since it was not reported to the county, the property tax is
not increased either. My agent told me many people do that. Is there any
concern with this house ? Is there any problem when buying insurance ?

you can request the seller to get permit, and put that as an contingency if
you want.

有了PERMIT后，明年地税就要上去了吧。。。

这个不容易啊,如果seller很久以前搞的,现在去补permit,非常麻烦
搞不好很多地方要拆开重搞.seller估计要换买家了

基本上是肯定的。一个一般的完全finished的地下室估价要涨大概5万。1%的税的话就
是$500/年。

哈哈哈，你这两个极端例子可难倒老夫了。我觉得具体情况还要具体分析。德州的例子
一般加大概5万应该差不多，纽约我估计应该也差不多，因为纽约贵的是地，而不是上
面的Improvements。
