请教房子四周drain应该怎么弄？# Living

其实不是房子，是detached车库。就是块水泥的地基，上面用木头搭的小“房子”。
也不知道是日子久了四周树叶堆积太多还是刚开始的设计问题，房子两侧的地面居然高于车库里面的地面。
导致底部的木头一直和土壤接触，都烂掉了。
请问有没有人知道该怎么处理呀？可以在两侧挖两条沟用来排水么。。。？

Laoshan did that, right? 沟 is fine for drainage, but probably, you still
prefer a leveled ground. In that case, back fill the trench with loose
gravels.
Drainage gravel will do the trick, but for aesthetic reasons, you might pick
something more colorful, as long as it goes with with your house siding.

en, 我觉得最好就是把地面全部弄成有坡度的了。
不过看起来这样的话就得把院子给刨掉一层 :(

That should also work, if there is a small area to regrade.
Just personally speaking, I found back filling is easier than growing back
the turf. And I always feel more confident where I know the water will flow
to in a trench. Regrading? Settling is really a tricky business.

By the way, I know a lot of people found themselves attract to smaller
gravels, like pea size. Believe me, your mower doesn't like that.
And use chips instead of pebbles as round objects love traveling around.

最好找专业的人做，没有什么特别的技巧，自己一点一点做需要时间太长。
Foundation上面的sill plate到泥土地，应该有4~6英寸的距离。
我这里有张图，供参考。Good Luck!

晕啊，现在sill plate比泥地大概低4-6inch，
再挖掉4-6 inch的话，岂不是要有一条壕沟。。。
