How much u borrow for how long ?
mine is total $1700. but I only borrowed 80k for 10 years.
I was told u can lower it down if u borrow more.

What is the next origination charge (after credit)? Normally around $1000
without processing fee and point.

no point. but this is the total fell. no others like underwriting, admin
etc. I do not think it is cheap, but I think it is an everage price .
Another local credit union charges $300 more for the same interest, but I
can reduce $1000 by taking higher interest.

各个lender是不一样的，基本是接受现实，没什么可以讨价还价的。多问几个lender或
broker比较一下吧。

origination包括underwriting在里面了，只是GFE上面不叫underwriting fee。

My understanding u can get lower origination fee if you borrow more money(
which u did), but the bank will make your interest higher. so u have to
decide to choose between lower origination fee or lower interest.

Ours is the same with yours. We found brokers with lower origination charge
but their rates were also higher.

they do not call it point here, I think they call it loaner give you some "
credit". I never get it due to my small amount loan, but that is what I am
thinking.
