Some points in addition to the info on the job page.
1. Mid-to-Senior level position, MS with working experience required. Sorry
this position will not consider new grads without working experience.
Individual contributor role.
2. On the technical side, this position requires good SQL and statistical
programming skills (R preferred but SAS ok). Experience with statistical
experiment design a plus. Experience working under Linux a plus.
3. On the business side, this position requires good business sense and
interpersonal skills to work in a result-driven cross-functional environment
. Critical thinking is very important for this position.

1. No. This position is a US position, and applicant must be willing to work
at Mountain View, California.
2. Just normal usage, data manipulation, fitting some model, etc. We don't
expect advanced usage, such as implementing an algorithm or developing a
package in R.

I cannot give specific answer to this question, but in general Google
has very competitive compensation in the market.
