在下化工小硕，去年年底毕业，一直在找工作
每次都因为没绿卡没嫌弃，今天又接到hr电话，把本来定好的interview取消了，就因
为没绿卡
我都想哭了，求各位看官指条明路，难道只能回国了？
难道没绿卡就没工作，没工作就没绿卡，真死循环了？
转CS呢？是个办法吗？

贷款买了车，dealer打电话来说地址跟银行的记录不一样，因为还没去银行改
所以叫我带deed复印给他们他们跟银行说
这deed能随便复印了给别人么

你都小硕了，转cs除非读博，否则opt都没。那毕业了还不是没绿卡，没工作？

The deed is public info, you can show them on your phone over the internet.
Your driver license is the card you can let them copy if they want.

告诉他银行的地址是错的呗。
实在不行，一张水费单子也可以证明啊。
deed不能证明，假如你有n个房子的话。
这个dealer吃饱了撑的。

搞笑呢，真正的大deal都是citi家的吧，从当年5%刷initial fund到去年的100k，一波
一波嗯

把银行地址改了不就行了么？难道不是online就可以完成的?
如果驾照上地址改了，就拎去给他们看看，deed应证明不了LZ在哪儿住吧，只能证明拥
有产权。

go for a cs master program, then aim at campus recruiting from the big name
companies, they can wait you till October for H1-B to start.
or go for an icc/ccc, opt is valuable so don't waste it, use it to find any
work you can and accumulate experience. actually i think this way is better
than go for another degree due to opt problem

Cs最早要今年秋季入学了，opt 撑到8月还剩多少？另外，opt分开用的，17各月延期
还有吗？cs中cpt怎么用？转行前要把功课做好

谢谢，回答很诚恳，我还考古了一下icc/ccc是啥，感觉跟油服公司差不多
可惜现在大多数油服公司都不 sponsor entry-level

icc/ccc do sponsor h1-b, you could find people from ccc in this bbs.
generally speaking, this is a good starting point if you want to transfer to
career in cs.
as for whether you still have opt, you should be aware that the opt time can
not be saved for future use once you have applied for 12 month initially,
but if you only applied, say 9 month, then you still have 3 month remaining
for your new ms degree.

很感谢您这么热心回答我的问题，看来转CS理论上是可行的，真到找工作的时候也不容

其实楼主不用给我包子的.拿人钱财,替人消灾,既然收了你的包子,我就再多说两句.
首先是提醒楼主注意你的opt时间,我有同学吃过这方面的亏.opt的12个月分开使用只能
在一开始申请的时候注明,如果没有明确指出只申请3或6个月,我想大部分oiss都会
default给你申请12个月,这样以后同等级的学位就没有opt用了.我之前的建议充分利用
你的opt就是针对这种情况而言,宁可把opt用在icc/ccc上积攒经验,也千万不要浪费掉.
没有opt工作会更难找.
这两天版上关于马工油工争论很多,信息量很大,总结一下感觉油工因为坑相对少,美国
人进入越来越多变得不太支持h1b了,phd除外.所以马工在可见未来还是转行的好方向.
如果楼主opt已启动12个月,你可以: 1 疯狂练习算法数据结构，博一下大公司
2 屈尊icc/ccc工作，积攒工作经验
在opt结束时如果没有支持h1b的offer，可以申请cs phd或cs master（利用cpt工作，
等待h1b申请）。

whether you have used 12 months of OPT is based on the approved time on the
EAD. If date on EAD was good for a year, then 12 months are used, no matter
how many days you actually work or in USA.
