现在的deck是在水泥地上面，看着倒是还算坚固。
前几天找了个contractor来看看能不能把deck改成个sunroom。他现在给的初步design
和这个图片差不多，只不过没有天窗。siding下面不是水泥，就是deck的PT wood。
我想这样的话不是和加一间房间差不多了嘛，这下面的水泥肯定不像房子地基那样有
footer，以后会不会有沉降啊？
你们觉得呢？

It's not about 沉降, but about freezing...If the inspector doesn't
think this sunroom is gardening structure, then they want you to
build the foundation up to a certain depth to fight against the
frost heave. The minimum depth varies county by county.
In north NJ, it's 3 ft...
Maybe you can make an argument in your building permit application that you
don't need to rebuild the foundation. In fact, if you can get a
licensed architect to make the drawing for you, then you are probably
fine...

对。任何和房子连接的建筑都要有地基，冬土以下。要permit。

以建deck 为例：inspection 要3次。 1，坑深。挖完柱子的坑要inspection. 2.
frame. 架子搭好要inspection. 3. final， deck 的面和栏杆。

呃，我家已经有deck的，但是是紧挨着地面的那种，不知道当初下面foundation是
咋整的呀。。。
如果当初建deck是符合code的话，是不是说明能直接造sunroom呢。。。？

deck的地基和日房的要求是不一样的吧

主要看你的deck是否连接着房子。如果deck一侧有支柱，另一侧连在房子上，就可以。
如果两侧都有立柱，deck就没连在房子上，只是挨着。应该就不行。
不过怎么你都需要permit。

独立的，小于100尺的sunroom不要地基 in NJ。但连到房子上，就要地基。

紧挨着地面的，根本看不出下面有木有柱子啊。。。
我是担心contractor有办法混到permit，但是实际上有隐患。

如果能有permit就应该没事，你这不大，即使塌了也不会影响整个房子。

因为这个contractor说sunroom的屋顶得连到现在房子的屋顶上。我有点儿担心万一地
基不牢移动一点儿，把房子的屋顶都搞坏了。。。

但是这个deck很轻呀，改成sunroom的话要加很多重量吧。。。
