现在家里的side by side的GE冰箱，已经七八年了。最近出现问题，冷藏一点都不冷，
冷冻也没效果，冷冻室下部有些许冷冻作用，不大。冰箱内灯可亮，听出有电机声，但
是没有以前大。
请了一个修冰箱的来，啥也没干，收了75$，告诉得修以下东西
Mod board - 180$
Fan motor - 60$
Condenser - 225$
加人工费超过600$了。
个人感觉修理工有问题，找错了问题或者不想修只想我们买他推荐的新冰箱。
请问，如果上面三个东西都坏了，冰箱还有一点制冷效果么？是不是还需要另外花钱找
一个修理工来看看呢？还是直接买新冰箱就好？
另外，买新冰箱怎么最省钱？

啥也没干，怎么知道你的冰箱哪里坏了？来回路程难道不该收费吗？
七八年的冰箱就不该修了，换新的。

the most common problem with GE frigs are bad defrost heat core.
take out everything from the frig, unplug it. leave all doors open for 24
hours. you might see up to 1/2 gallon of water coming out of the back of
the freezer. after that you can use your frig as usual, but the problem may
come back in a few days, that's how you can be sure the problem is from the
broken defrost heat core.
the heat core cost about $100 for parts.

same problem here. i replaced (2) heaters already in the past few years, a
new one from ebay last about 4 years.

i got the heater from ebay about $20... just write down the model # and
look for it in ebay.

如果底下还冷，说明压缩机还工作。估计是从evaporator的coil往冰箱其他区域送冷风
的风扇坏了。试一下冷藏区的送风口有没有风，没有风就是这个问题。换个风扇，30块
钱搞定。

要知道问题只有一个，那家伙分明在忽悠你。检查家用冰箱比检查冷暖气机在操作上要
麻烦的多，通常需要把冷藏处的食品全拿出来，打开最里边的内板，才能基本上看出原
因。我是这样认为的，家用冰箱如果修理费用超过$150-$180（up&down vs side by
side)通常没有修理的价值，但具体也要看年份和喜欢的程度。楼主这台冰箱只要coil
没问题，可以说是绝对有修理价值的。我们无法把你付出去的$75讨回来，但是如果你
根据大家的建议，ＤＩＹ一步步的去检查，相信最后也只不过再花几十块钱。来这儿的
目的就是为了要省钱，
