Water is leaking from a hole on the pressured well water tank of 80 gallon.
A local plummer charge $700 for a new tank and $500 for the labor. Anyone
has similar experience? It is in the northeast area.

My tank is a 525 gallon galvanized steel tank two concrete horse saddles and
a 8'X12'X 8" concrete pad built for about $2600. According to my well guy,
I can knock off $600 if I were to build the concrete pad by myself. That
was a year ago.
I can give you my 80 gallon galvanized steel tank if you live in Northern
California. Nothing wrong with it and it will last for many years. You can
plumb yourselves. You can get the parts from Home Depot.
