Job Description
This position is responsible for Data Processing Infrastructure. You will
play an important role in designing storage and computing platforms that
enable researchers and engineers to implement their ideas in an efficient
and effective way. You are expected to have strong skills in technical
design, implementation and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
Design data processing pipeline and analysis tools
Build systems to manage spatiotemporal data
Design visualization tools
Design modern build-and-deploy pipelines
Design tool chains to automate our workflows
Qualification
PhD or MS in related academic program or equivalent practical experience
Excellent programming experience in AT LEAST ONE of the following languages:
C, C++, Python
Strong understanding of Linux or Unix fundamentals
Experience in Kafka, Hadoop, Spark, or other data processing tools
Excellent communication skills
