Whale watchers off the California coast were treated to a stunning sight
Friday: a large pod of rarely seen pilot whales. Today.com reports that it’
s only the second time that anyone has seen the elusive animals off the West
coast in the last 20 years.
Passengers and crew on a tour with Captain Dave’s Dolphin and Whale Safari
were aboard three boats at Orange County’s Dana Point when they spotted
dozens of the large, short-finned whales, according to NBC Southern
