Thanks to all! This sounds scary. When I was buying this house, my agent
said it is common in southern california, and his house is like this too.
Looks like we should not trust agents, and their goal is to make deal happen.

作为agent, 我会分析，由客户决定。
若是市场价，不太建议买，可能是个隐患。
若低于市场价，再看具体情况决定。

先不用着急，我知道在有些地方有些年代的房子确实是很普遍的情况。
只能说有可能是很大的问题，但不是每个排到attic的房子就会有excessive moisture
从而引起mold
有些房子因为朝向，当地气候温度的原因，几十年了也屁事没有。
关键还是看具体你这个房子的情况，是否已经有mold了，visual inspection要做仔细
，还可以采集样本寄到实验室做专门的mold测试。
