如果是local店用cash买的，receipt上就不会用名字。然后随便一个人的地址都可
以搞rebate? 推广到其他rebate呢？只要是cash在local店买的，就不一定购买的人跟
rebate信息的人对应起来？

我们的房子是今年6月初成交，成交后换了所有窗户和厨房的柜子，之后7月初搬进来的
，在东北部。
成交之后，搬家之前有几天这边下暴雨，我们发现壁炉侧面的墙上的漆泡起来了（我们
的壁炉在墙角，壁炉侧面是在房间里面），一摸发现是湿的，那块泡起来的地方轻轻可
以刮破，还掉小块下来，很明显墙进水了。当时我们通过经纪人问原房主，他们否认房
子之前漏过雨，再加上当时给我们换柜子和窗户的contractor说可以帮我们修，我们也
就没有再追究这事。
搬家后一周左右下了次不大不小的半天雨，墙又泡起来了，又请了另外一个contractor
处理了一下，之后没下比较大的雨。最近几天下了次比较大的雨，墙又泡起来了，湿度
计测量结果可以到100%。
我们想问，1.处理这类漏雨大家一般怎么办？找专业roofer还是自己弄？ 2.我们是否
可以追究做房间的人的责任？3.被水泡过的墙是否要拆掉，看里面是否长霉？

准备3万块钱吧。
说不定房顶都得换掉。

staples' easy rebate 我都是乱做的，只要买了，不管是店里还是网上，随便填名字
和地址，注意地址的LIMIT就行。

First take lots of pictures of the damages. Then you should call your
insurance company, get a water damage mitigation firm to strip off the wet
walls, dry out the wood, replace wet insulation and treat your house for
mold. Ask them to assess the damage, find out where the water is coming
from, and determine if it is a new problem or old problem. If it's old
problem and it couldn't have been missed, then you can threaten to sue the
previous owner and the seller agent for deliberately hiding material facts.
If it's new problem, find out who or what is responsible.
The insurance will likely covers the removal of wall, wood and anything else
damaged by the water, mold treatment, and the cost of restoring to original
look. But they wouldn't cover any damage caused by lack of maintenance
from previous owner, or any new damages that are not caused by an accident
or force of nature.
