我现在有3/8 和 3/16 两种 roller，后面的比前面的更smooth。那决定最后效果的是
最后一层coat吗？也就是说，用3/8刷3层有orange peal的，再用3/16刷最后一层，和
用3/16刷4层是一样的吗？

3/8 microfiber, 9 or 12 inches. for most latex paint, two coasts are
sufficient. If you need more than two, you are doing something wrong. The
sheen is decided by the paint, not the smoothness of the roller. Do not use
smooth foam rollers. They are garbage.
Rolling is the easy part. The real challenge is cutting a straight line at
the ceiling. See the following where the paint line is not straight at the
crown moulding:

有颜色的漆，两遍就足够了。墙面非常光滑，可以用3/16.一般用3/8 或1/2 的。先用
刷子描边，再上滚筒。

我家在wood上漆。一层primer后还能看到wood颜色现在正弄第二层primer 然后两层浅
灰漆
3/8有orange peel 不理想。所以问问是不是前3层有orange peel无所谓最后一层用3/
16就能去掉orange peel?
我现在是每层用3/8涂一层再用3/16弄光滑

在木头上刷漆，应该用 high density foam paint roller。3/16 或3/8 会刷的太厚，
就会有orange peel。

raw wood filter will pop after the first layer of paint or primer, need to
get sanded. and if smooth surface is so desirable, better paint from sw or
bm, something specifically for cabinets is needed.
