帅锅。问了三问题，第一个是问我妈的曾用名，我爸说是中国人的乳名，因为是我妈出
生证上的，我不得不填。VO笑，然后问你们女儿在哪在干嘛？我娘说我先去读书现在在
工作。最后问我爸妈还在工作不？我爸妈是都退休，但现在另外都有工作。然后就过了
，辛辛苦苦准备这么多材料，啥也没看！我爸说前面那个人啥材料没准备，被盘问好久
。。所以建议该准备的都要准备，哪怕用不着！我昨晚激动得一晚上没睡着，三年没见
我爸妈了。

11/6之后买有如下限制http://www.irs.gov/formspubs/article/0,,id=203083,00.html：
New Requirements
Several new restrictions on purchases that occur after Nov. 6 go into effect
with the new law:
Dependents are not eligible to claim the credit.
No credit is available if the purchase price of a home is more than $800,
000.
A purchaser must be at least 18 years of age on the date of purchase.
11/7-11/30买的房子其他所有条件都符合，但是房价超过$800K，那么拿不了退税了？

祝福一个！
我父母也是同一天在上海签过的。也只问了两三个简单的问题，比如，去美国干吗，儿
子在美国干吗，你们两个干吗，然后就过了，其他材料一概没看。
另外：看到置顶的帖子里有提到跨区的问题。按理应该去北京签，但是我弟在上海工作
，就约了上海。
预约完之后才发现置顶的帖子里提到的这个问题，于是赶紧打电话给大使馆客服问了问
，客服说哪里都能签。签证的时候也没问道这个问题。给后来人一个参考吧。

and Cap1 does credit inquiries to all 3 bureaus
but for 100,000 + 10,000 + 1,000 points? bite me //hehe

The ultimate explanation has to come from IRS, which has not come out yet.
So the best thing to do is: do not worry too much and just wait. There's not
much
you can do anyway.
By the way, in the new law, the "purchase date" is somehow defined as
contract date.
You probably can claim that you went into contract before 11/7 so you can
still go
ahead use the 2008 form.

这么说现在irs网上的解释还不是最后的？最后的解释指的是新的5405表吗？多谢

人家问了在线客服了，客服说是提交一份航空公司的里程statement就行，不是credit
card的statement。这个statement不能older than 6 months

应该是你航空公司账号上的mileage，就是当前的milage balance

up to是说，如果你有<10w,那match你已经有的；如果你有>10w,那只能match 10w

其实还不如AA的75K。。
如果买暑假的机票花1000
就需要100K pts
如果花1000多就要100K以上pts
而航空公司的里程消耗是不跟着价格变的
70K就是能换回国往返
虽然需要早点动作
而且这个只有1w名额拿不到就亏了

你理解错误，这个就是给你$1100用来旅游的，旅馆，租车，cruise，都可以，不一定
非要买机票。当然，拿不拿得到就另说了。

你可以打印现在的，或者过去个月中的任何一个

没有的话下个pdf printer,安装后再打印

1B miles have been reached. Deal is dead. For those who did not get the code
to reserve, it is possible not getting the matching points.
I saw this deal when it just came out (March. 10). But someone lied to say
the miles were maxed out. So I decided not to jump. Anyway, it is only worth
up to $1100 dollars. If you did not spend it within a year, I think you
will be charged on annual fee to keep the card and miles alive.
Not like AA miles, I booked summer first class tickets with 102k mile. The
ticket worths $7000 dollars. :)

我刚反应过来, 这张卡是double miles for every purchase啊!
机票可以在别处买了再"报销", 也就是说等于2% CB 无上限啊... 为啥要年费啊!!!

赞一下capitalone；在deadline之前申的两张，都instant了，但之后才拿到code提交
；现在reserve了100k*2~~
以前对capital印象不好，主要是三天两头被塞小广告；然后又是三家pull。。。但这
张venture真是不错，2% cash back everything, no foreign transaction fee，能自
己upload photo personalize card。。而且因为不确定性，打了好几次电话，感觉csr
都很nice。这张卡准备保留了
给第一个出来证实bonus的lz个双黄包~

要年费，就是要鼓励你多消费（多拿Rewards把年费赚回来），同时信用卡公司才能赚
钱。
年费不是什么坏事，如果你最终挣的Rewards减去年费还比其他卡挣的多，就该留着用。
很多人花钱买Costco、Sam's Club的年费为了买便宜货，也是一个道理。
如果没有没年费的2% Rewards Card，年消费又比较多，C1 Venture Card还是很不错的
选择。
