I received that letter for all of my Freedom accounts about a month ago. If
you have a Chase checking account, your bonus points will be rewarded only
once a year instead of monthly right now. The honeymoon is over for Chase
customers I guess.
What's changing on or about April 01, 2013:
Currently, with Chase Freedom, you earn 10% Extra Points per $1 spent, plus
10 Bonus Points on every purchase you make with your credit card.
Starting on or about April 01, 2013, instead you will now earn a 10% Annual
Points Bonus on ALL POINTS earned on purchases, including the points earned
in the 5% quartly bonus catergories (For example, if you earn 10,000 points
using your Chase Freedom card this year, you'll be awarded an additional 1,
000 points on next year's January or Feb statement.)
That's the EXACT context of the letter I received from Chase. (it only
applies if you currently have BOTH a Chase Freedom CC and a Chase Checking
Account)
感觉像是有typo：“If you have a Chase checking account,”
是不是指没有checking account?
是不是说，开chase checking acct一定比不开要好？
