Why don't buy an accoustic electric, like an Ovation, it sure can
produce some nice acoustic tone. :)
If you are a beginer, a strat is a sure thing. Won't ever regret
to buy a (nice) strat. Here in strat, I mean strat or strat copy,
not only Fender strats. G&L make nice strats, but a little bit
expensive. Warmoth build custom guitars, I am considering build
a strat from them for myself. But they are kind of over you price range.
Another option is a Santana SE, on sale at Musiciansfriend for $39
