proven to address long- standing droop and efficiency problems of convention

General Purpose:
Saphlux is seeking an Research Scientist to join our team with the
responsibility for development of semi-polar related projects. In this
position, the individual will work closely with research scientists on
crystal growth, characterizations and tests. As a member of the engineering
team, this individual will take a key role in supporting the semi-polar
substrate research as well as understanding the down-stream manufacturing
process in semi-conductor. Some travel may be required occasionally.
Candidate will possess related engineering experience with emphasis on LEDs
and is expected to grow with the company and become the key member in
engineering team.
Principle Accountabilities/Duties:
! Effectively work with other scientists engineers and engineers to provide
hands-on support to product development.
! Conduct experiment preparation, MOCVD growth, sample characterization and
evaluation; assist with project proposals and reports.
! Work cross-functionally to assist in establishing acceptance criteria and
product qualification requirements.
! Interact as a technical and market expert with vendors, industry partners
and customers to achieve product goals.

Job Qualifications (must have skills):
! Solid electrical engineering background with focus on semiconductor
! Strong problem solving skills, great team worker and communicator
! Entrepreneurial spirit, willing to grow with the company and take
different
responsibilities when needed
! Quick learner, have the ability to adapt dynamic environment and tackle
new areas
! Solid understanding of semi-conductor manufacturing process
Preferred Qualifications (nice to have skills):
! Experience with MOCVD growth
! Industry experience with semiconductor manufacturing process
! Knowledge of crystal growth
Education or Training:
Requires a Master's degree or higher in Electrical/Electronic Engineering,
Physics or Material Science
