打电话去诊所约OB，first appointment,结果被告知诊所内有好几位OB,每次约可能会
是遇到不同的OB，所以不是固定去看其中一个。
大家都是这样的么？觉得好想应该是固定一个吧。

我当时看的就是一个group，五个ob，每次见的都不同，也没觉得有什么不好。

我一开始也是每次见不同的，后来跟一个我感觉最好的OB提出下次还要她检查，然后她
就约appointment的纸上签了字，之后就都是固定的OB了。

If you choose group practice you may see different doctors at each visit. Or
you can try to make appointment with the same doctor if he/she is avaiable.
In some sense it is good to meet all the doctors in the group during
pregnancy since you won't know who will be on call when you deliver the baby

不同的医生挺好。生孩子的时候医生也不固定，不管是谁，起码对你的情况都有所了解。
我每次看OB也是不同的医生和midwife,反正一个孕期下来基本上每个人都见过一次了。

It depends on your insurance. Normally PPO plan enables you to stay with
same ob from the beginning to delivering, including C-Section.
If you have HMO or Kaiser, there are a group of obs who check on you, and
you will never know who is going to assist you delivering your baby ( most
of time you might never see the doctor who assist you delivering.)

我ob是group practice。但是我只约他。而且跟他说好了，生孩子只要他接生。医生说
：i will be on call for you。他跟group里面的医生都说好了，谁on call，接到我
电话，就通知他。只要他不out of town，任何时间他都给我接生。

If he promises, you probably can rely on him. However,only if he is not out
of town. Then you might ask him his vacation schedule to see if it overlaps
with your due day.

结果，还是成了emergency C。他还是给我剖了。
他有病人，之前说好12／24日生的，C也不可以太早。他本来那天就要去父母家过x'mas
，结果因为几个月前就说好了他给人剖。他24日给人剖完，第二天确认病人都好，才离

哈哈，我同事就是12/25生的，因为是紧急情况，她自己OB度假去了，刚好silverman在
，就他上了。结果生完我同事就把她原来的ob蹬了，跟了silverman。
