Feifei Gu, a Chinese postdoctoral fellow of UAB, had hemorrhagic stroke (脑溢血) and
passed away while working in the lab around 1:00pm on Monday July 16, 2007.
Feifei graduated from the University of Alabama (Tuscaloosa) with a Ph.D.
degree in Chemistry. After graduation, she started to work for UAB. Feifei
is survived by her 5 year old daughter Emily and her husband.
我们沉重地宣布我们深爱着的顾菲菲女士因病于2007年7月17日2时在阿拉巴马伯明翰医院去世，享年33岁。顾菲菲是华东理工大学校友, 于1999年就读于阿拉巴马大学（TUSCALOOSA)化学专业，2005年毕业获博士学位,在阿拉巴马大学伯明翰分校开始博士后工作。
