We are searching for a Sr. Mechanical Design Engineer who will design
new security locking products and mechanisms and sustain/upgrade
existing product lines.
The employer is located in Phoenix, AZ, with an excellent, fully
modern work environment with state of the art machinery.
The successful candidate must be able to design from "white paper"
using FEA and Solid Works. You will work with machinists during the
development of prototypes in mechanical design and be responsible for
working with other engineers during the analysis and testing of these
prototypes. You will be responsible to assure that all designs are
accompanied with necessary design and assembly documentation.
Requirements
You must have a strong Mechanical Engineering background and have
worked within a machine shop environment. A strong background working
with steel, aluminum,brass and stainless along with a solid
understanding of various processes for finishing of metals. A
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering is required along with 8
to 10 years of Solid Works CAD experience and experience designing
small mechanisms. You must also have a solid understanding of
engineering mechanics, machine design, materials fabrication processes
and analysis/testing of prototype designs.
Relocation costs reimbursed for well qualified candidate. US
citizenship required.
