多大的孩子，若不是高中的话，学籍没了就没了，反正回来那天，就可以去报名要求上
学，可能回不了原来的班就是了。

问学校吧，最理想的做法是把孩子转成home school几个月。

小学是义务制教育，让孩子上学是家长的义务。如果孩子长期旷课或者退学，家长都可
能会有麻烦。

这可以与搬家类似考虑吧. 孩子短期搬到个其他地方, 在那儿
接着上学, 回来之后在回原来学校上学, 我觉得象转学一样考虑不知行不行?
应该允许在学期中间转学吧?

学期中间当然可以转学的，估计楼主不想转学，只想请假。

我当然知道什么是Unexcused Absences，但我也知道同事中有两个例子，都是好好去跟
学校说，强调教育不会中断，而去外地转了两个月的。学校这么制定规则是有理由的，
我只是不赞成用“逃避”的说法。把你的理由跟学校说，可以最好，不可以就回来之后
重新入学。比去琢磨一个“逃避”的方法靠谱。

学校说，强调教育不会中断，而去外地转了两个月的。学校这么制定规则是有理由的，
我只是不赞成用“逃避”的说法。把你的理由跟学校说，可以最好，不可以就回来之后

我原先也跟楼主一样觉得学校规定了，就是这样。可是事实上我家女儿在中国上了一整
年学，回来就跟学校报名，解释了一下我们孩子实在这里出生的，只是回中国了一年，
我们希望她学习中文，学校一下就接受了完全没有问题。
女儿现在二年级，学校规定unexcused超过3天就会有社工家访，我们因为老人过来，还
有我自己工作安排，只能在11月初安排出去玩，跟学校请了3天假，虽然没超过，但是
也有点担心，结果跟Principle一交流，他马上同意给excuse。
说这么多意思是，跟学校交流一下，问题会解决得。

我们希望她学习中文，学校一下就接受了完全没有问题。

这个UA rate是一个考核学校的指标吧，学校校长就有权力进行解释？那样的话，不成
了著名的体制问题了？
