我之前有工作，现在已经辞职创业，预计2015年收入为0。奥巴马医保规定如果我没有
医疗保险就要罚钱，于是在考虑Medicaid。加入Medicaid不要钱，花的都是纳税人的钱
，等于吃了政府福利。请问这样做有没有什么坏处？以后加入公民时会因为吃了政府福
利而受影响吗？

如果你绿卡前，拿过联邦政府的福利，会影响绿卡，可能被拒。 你交485的时候，表上
会问。

medicaid是跟真的穷人用的免费医疗，一般都要求绿卡或者美国公民，
需要你的收入和财产都达标（即很穷），你去当地的政府部门要一份申请表格就清楚了，
要你报你的银行statement的。有人虚报过这个数字还拿medicaid被抓了的，纽约那边

如果是刚拿绿卡小于半年，建议慎重。
如果拿绿卡超过一年，就没有问题了。
绿卡基本就算是自己人了，初了没得投票以外。

Medicaid分为医疗和其他福利。
以前的Medicaid是对低收入人群的，看收入和存款。
Obamacare后，医疗部分的Medicaid是根据你tax year的收入。收入不到标准的可以拿
Medicaid。无关你是否有资产。
