Step 1：下载需要的软件和文件
软件：
WinSCP

全部放在电脑同一目录下，并解压
分别得到：
cfe.exe

FW_RT_AC68U_30043763626.trx
RT-AC68U_380.63_2.trx
Step 2: 关闭wifi，网线连接电脑和router，router和modem之间不要用网线连接。
Step 3: 设置有线网卡的固定IP
start > run > ncpa.cpl > double click Ethernet > properties > IPV4 >
IP: 192.168.29.5
Subnet: Default (255.255.255.0)
Gateway: 192.168.29.1
Step 4: 进入神游Recovery/Restore 模式
Hold reset button 10 seconds
Power off router (keep holding reset)
Wait 10 seconds, keep holding reset
Power on router holding reset for 10 more seconds
这时候神游的前面的最右边电源指示小灯会慢慢的一闪一闪，这就表明进入了恢复/重
置模式
Step 5： 将tmobil的firmware降级，这样才可以再刷成asus的firmware
IE里面输入192.168.29.1，
UserName：admin
Password: password
Flash TM-AC1900_3.0.0.4_376_1703-g0ffdbba.trx
Wait for reboot <5 mins – WiFi lights will turn on when boot is complete
Step 6：Log in to router (admin:admin or admin:password)
1. Go to Administration > System > Enable SSH > Yes > Apply
2. Open Putty and WinSCP and connect them to 192.168.29.1 using a admin:
admin or admin:password
Tip: In WinSCP select SCP as file protocol, in Putty SSH
3. In putty type:
cat /dev/mtd0 > original_cfe.bin
4. In WinSCP refresh the window on the right side and note that original_
cfe.bin is present
5. Copy original_cfe.bin to a local drive
6. Upload original_cfe.bin to https://cfeditor.pipeline.sh/ > Select 1.0.
2.0 US as Source CFE > Download the new .bin > rename it to new_cfe.bin
7. Upload new_cfe.bin to router through WinSCP
8. Upload mtd-write to router through WinSCP
9. In Putty type:
chmod u+x mtd-write
10. In Putty type:
./mtd-write new_cfe.bin boot
11. In Putty type:
reboot
12. Wait for reboot <5 min – WiFi lights will turn on when boot is
complete
Step 7：等路由器重启后，电脑重新连接wifi， 然后重新ssh登陆路由器。（方法与前
面相同）
在ssh窗口，运行nvram get bl_version
如果显示1.0.2.0，或1.0.2.1就对了。
Step 8：
重置 NVRAM:
按路由器背后电电源键关掉路由器，
等10秒，
按下WPS 键不放，
按电源开路由器同时不松开WPS键，等15-20秒。
Step 9：
进入recovery，刷ASUS原装固件
用网线连接电脑和路由器，把电脑的wifi关掉，进入电脑里网络设置，把电脑网络地址
设为192.168.1.2
打开浏览器，输入地址192.168.1.1
按路由器背后电电源键关掉路由器，用针顶reset 键不放，
按电源开路由器，同时不松开reset 键，等30秒。直到电脑浏览器出现Mini-CFE 页面
这时候你可以用mini-cfe选择上传FW_RT_AC68U_30043763626.trx，在windows10下面很
可能不成
如果不成你就重新来一遍step8/9，出现mini-cfe后用administrator打开ASUS
Firmware Restoration，尝试更新FW_RT_AC68U_30043763626.trx，也有可能不成，告
诉你不是在rescue mode。
如果这两个都不成，就开启tftp 功能
Step 10：用tftp功能更新firmware
Control panel—program—turn windows features on or off—在”TFTP Client”上
面打勾
然后CMD进入DOS，“CD xxxx“ 目录，也就是到你的firmware所在的目录，然后TYPE
“tftp –I 192.168.1.1 PUT FW_RT_AC68U_30043763626.trx”, 然后windows会强行
更新firmware。显示成功后进入下一步
STEP 11: 检查更新成功
等路由器重启后，再在浏览器输入地址192.168.1.1，设置路由器。
UserName：admin
Password:admin
Go to Administration > System > Enable SSH > Yes > Apply
Open Putty, TYPE “df-h”, 在 “/dev/mtdblock4” 显示62.8M，表明分区扩大刷新
成功.
Step 12: Perform NVRAM Reset, wait for reboot <5 mins
a. Power off router
b. Wait 10 seconds
c. Press and hold WPS button
d. Power up the router and continue to hold WPS button for 15-20 seconds
Once flashed, reset PC IP back to default
Log in to router using 192.168.29.1 or 192.168.1.1 and the router is now an
AC68U with 64MB jffs
Feel free to flash AC68U builds from Asus, Merlin, Tomato, DD-WRT, etc…

8. Upload mtd-write to router through WinSCP
9. In Putty type:
chmod u+x mtd-write

12. Wait for reboot <5 min – WiFi lights will turn on when boot is
complete
Step 7：等路由器重启后，电脑重新连接wifi， 然后重新ssh登陆路由器。（方法与前
面相同）
在ssh窗口，运行nvram get bl_version
如果显示1.0.2.0，或1.0.2.1就对了。
Step 8：

进入recovery，刷ASUS原装固件

打开浏览器，输入地址192.168.1.1

按电源开路由器，同时不松开reset 键，等30秒。直到电脑浏览器出现Mini-CFE 页面
这时候你可以用mini-cfe选择上传FW_RT_AC68U_30043763626.trx，在windows10下面很
可能不成
如果不成你就重新来一遍step8/9，出现mini-cfe后用administrator打开ASUS
Firmware Restoration，尝试更新FW_RT_AC68U_30043763626.trx，也有可能不成，告
诉你不是在rescue mode。

Once flashed, reset PC IP back to default
Log in to router using 192.168.29.1 or 192.168.1.1 and the router is now an
AC68U with 64MB jffs
Feel free to flash AC68U builds from Asus, Merlin, Tomato, DD-WRT, etc…
