半年前跳槽到现在公司，之前的公司是我毕业后的第一份工作，公司规模不大，现在可
能只有100人左右，师傅跟老板都是白人，超级nice，尤其是我的师傅，教了我很多东
西，我走的时候，老板跟师傅曾劝我留下，但当时想着现在公司规模大，以后发展机会
更好，就毫不犹豫的走了。
可是进去了才发现跟自己想的不一样，每个人上班只想着怎么cover自己的ass,做的东
西也是相当无聊，感觉像是养老院。
走的第三个月，前老板找过我一次，问我想不想回来，当时新公司还在蜜月期，觉得还
不错，就婉拒了。
这次labor day，就跟师傅发了邮件道了声节日快乐，师傅再次问我新公司做的好不好
，希望我考虑回去，这次我是真的动摇了。。。。
大家说说我该不该回去，有什么利弊吗

犹豫的原因就是当初执意离开，现在又回去了感觉怪怪的，会不会与师父老板有隔阂，
再来这次回去两年里面应该是不能跳了吧
以前一直想去大公司做，觉得那样对自己的职业发展有利，但是这半年的工作感受就是
大公司接触的东西太狭窄了，反而没有我在原来公司接触的东西多，可是心里的另一个
声音就是大公司说出去好听，以后找工作可能容易，哎，好纠结

就说还是原来的公司做的东西符合你的口味。你老板这么欣赏你，不会在意之前的事情

工作最重要的是开心不开心
大公司里面螺丝钉很多，it尤其如此
未必你就能学到很多东西，小公司反而容易成长
再有个好领导，值了

谢谢大家的意见，看来是一边倒的支持回去，很意外，还以为好多人会说好马不吃回头
草。。。。
应该是回去了，也不想折腾其他公司了，真怕万一又找了一个不顺心的，频繁跳槽对自
己也是硬伤

那楼主当初换工作除了大公司的因素，工资是不是也有很大变化呢？原公司是否愿意
match甚至提升，应该也是很重要的考虑因素吧。如果回去，肯定也不能是照旧吧？楼
主是否对回去有个心理价位呢？

First, I am not a IT person.
I did feel underpay in previous company. My current company offers me a 20%
increase in salary plus bonus. Previous one agreed to match at that time but
I declined.
Yesterday, my previous company gave me an oral offer with about 11% increase
. I think I will take it. I feel like a great supervisor and manager matters
a lot after experiencing all those drama.

这个感觉还是很不错的。期待楼主汇报后续情况！
我现在也是离开一个自己非常喜欢的工作环境，老板就像自己的一个长辈一样，光是和
同事话别都哭了好几次了。可是现在的工作实在工资太低，而且无数级别水平比我高的
人工资都上不去，我就更没希望了。但是如果以后新工作不如意，旧老板愿意大幅涨工
资，我也觉得回归是可以考虑的。

In general, if you are happy in current position,
don't take an offer (from an unfamiliar company)
that's less than 30% previous pay. Place a high
value on your own loyalty and your brand name as a
long term contributor instead of a fly-by-the-night
mercenary, this way other people will get the message
and invest in you more.
However, in this case you are going back to a
company that you previously worked for and liked,
so you get to go back even it's not that much
a payraise.
On LS who said you are in a hopelessly lowly paid position.
I'd suggest try to get a few rank raises first,
get more responsibilities, help more people
before you worry about your low-pay.
Some places are good for growing ranks and growing
networks and growing experiences. You should
not measure your "career hopes" based on your take-home pay.
Your job is a much better than a highly-paid, dead-end
office politicking job under someone who sabotage
all your successes and run a nepotistic feudal fiefdom.
Unfortunately now IT is full of highly paid traps like
the latter.

嗯，我觉得这个说的还是很有道理的。不过对于我的情况来说，我估计我要想升职涨工
资是可以的，要想大升大涨是不可能的，这不是老板的问题，完全是行政结构所致。所
以我也考虑过，我劳神费力琢磨怎么得到internal promotion，远远不如另找一个工作
容易和收效大。这一点真是挺悲哀的。我想我能为后来人做的贡献，就是让单位多一个
走掉的人，积累到一定程度，这个领域的人可能会认识到这样的体制和工资留不住有经
验的人。其实事实上这样的影响是微乎其微的，因为总是有不计报酬的后浪扑上来。很
多单位靠不断招收entry level的低工资的人，也能运行得好好的。所以这样的单位注
定只能是我们事业道路上的一站而已。

说的很好。只是到个人的时候操作起来很难，毕竟慢慢的大家都有家有口，不能保持一
份淡定的心，也会开始怀疑自己曾经相信的所谓的长远的眼光。

LOL，没错，确实是女生，不过师父也是女的，工作性质比较特别，在IT部门做着非IT
的事，所以周遭同事也清一色的男的，平时确实都比较nice

it's a dramatic pay increase. I would really wonder why this didn't happen
while I had worked there, if I would be asked to do the exactly same job
going back... so most likely I would not go back if this was the case. Good

如果看过我另外两个帖子，就知道我面过COMCAST，给的跟现在公司差不多，但是就怕
又是一个养老院，然后每个人心怀鬼胎，勾心斗角，我也不能频繁跳槽
