前两年在纽约书评（http://www.nybooks.com/articles/14148）上看到介绍，一首《黑
天鹅》把咱镇住了。看了一遍他的Selected Poems，果然气质非凡。
p.s. Merrill & Lynch 公司是他老爸开的。James因为从来不用为稻梁谋，诗写得比较贵
族。
“The Black Swan”
Black on flat water past the jonquil lawns
Riding, the black swan draws
A private chaos warbling in its wake,
Assuming, like a fourth dimension, splendor
That calls the child with white ideas of swans
Nearer to that green lake
Where every paradox means wonder.
Though the black swan's arched neck is like
A question-mark on the lak
