关于举行第五届浙江大学青年化学家论坛的通知
浙江大学化学系历史悠久，源远流长。经过百余年的的演变和奋斗，浙江大学化学系已
发展成为综合实力雄厚、在我国具有重要影响的化学教学和研究机构。目前浙江大学化
学系制度民主，求贤若渴，欢迎海内外有理想的青年才俊来浙大化学系参加学术交流；
同时，浙大化学系也欢迎广大青年化学家加入并实现自己的梦想，并努力为这些青年才
俊提供实现梦想的平台。
第五届浙江大学青年化学家论坛将于2017年10月27日到29日在浙江大学（杭州）举
行。本次论坛的主题覆盖化学所有的前沿领域，但我们特别鼓励以下研究领域的学者申
请参加本次会议：
（1）光谱和质谱
（2）计算化学
（3）高新材料的合成与应用
（4）天然产物全合成和不对称催化
（5）化学生物学。
申请人需已获得或将于2017年获得化学或相关学科博士学位。组委会将从申请人中遴选
10-15人来杭赴会。浙江大学化学系将为参会者提供往返国际旅费（不超过1500美元，
经济舱）以及杭州当地食宿费用。申请材料需包括个人简历(包含已发表论文目录）、3
-5篇代表性论文（pdf文件），并请于9月15日之前提交给张维娅老师（E-mail:
[email protected]）。

It is our sincere pleasure to invite you to Hangzhou to attend the 5th Young
Chemists Forum, which will be held at Zhejiang University from October 27th
to October 29th, 2017. The attendees should hold a Ph.D. (or, expecting a
Ph.D. degree in 2017) in the field of chemistry or related fields. About 10-
15 young scientists will be selected from the candidates. For each attendee,
Department of Chemistry of Zhejiang University will cover the travel
expense (up to $1500 USD, economy class airfare), as well as local
accommodations and meals at Hangzhou.
The main topics of the Forum are the frontiers of chemistry. Candidates from
all sub-fields of chemistry are welcome to attend this forum. However, the
following sub-fields are of special interest to this conference, including (
1) spectroscopy and mass spectrometry, (2) computational chemistry, (3)
synthesis and applications of advanced materials, (4) total synthesis of
natural products and asymmetric catalysis, and (5) chemical biology.
In order to attend the forum, all the applicants are asked to submit the
following application materials before September 15, 2017, to Ms Weiya Zhang
(email:[email protected]). The application materials include CV (
publication list should be included) as well as three to five representative
papers.

position as a principal investigator at the Department of Chemistry,
