俺上回得了Amazon的一张cupon, 买了三本书, 分别是
Greg Bear的Darwin's Radio,
Neal Stephenson的Cryptonomicon,
Vernor Vinge的A Deepness in the Sky.
今天一看三本书居然都得了本年度的雨果奖长篇奖提名,
俺可真是独具慧眼呀, 呵呵.
现在正在看Darwin's Radio, 感觉还是很不错的.
A Deepness in the Sky还没有看, 不过如果能写到它
的前集A Fire upon the Deep 那种深度, 那今年的雨
果奖毫无疑问就是它了.

Well, I haven't finished any of them, so can't really recommend one.
But as you see, the books on the nomination list all have their own
merits, though maybe I prefer not to read some of them at the moment.
Like the "A Civil Campaign" by Louis M. Bujold. It's actually the 17th
book in the Vorkosigan series. If you haven't read the previous books
in this series, you probably won't be able to enjoy it to the full
extent.
Also, the work by J.K.Rowling on the list is the 3rd book in his Harry
Potter
