The VisANT http://visant.bu.edu team at Boston University are looking for talent research assistants/postdocs/software engineers to join this exciting project of network/systems biology. The ideal candidate shall have at least one of the following background: bioinformatics, algorithm development, computational biology, graph theory, and modeling and simulation. The candidate needs to know the programming. Knowledge of Java and VisANT is a plus. 现在h1b签证stamp还是3个月2次入境吗？不知从谁那里听来好像今年10月后改成一年有
效多次入境？求证。。。。

小公司，100人左右，公司的HR是委托给一个专门的HR公司来管。
今天收到这个hr公司发来一封信，要我对我老板的老板take the management
development survey and rate his performance in various areas.
貌似还是老板的老板invited? 有这样的吗？这是发错了吗？

the online survey. All responses are confidential and anonymous. Your
feedback will be used to develop and action plan for his growth and
development.
我是该就填了？还是问一下hr公司？

看了一些科幻小说，里面未来的人类家里都有一些必备的治疗仪器，很多小病以及常见
病，都不再用去医院，除非是需要手术的才去医院，就连打针都不用去了。
比如身上的外伤，例如不是太严重的烫伤，被硬物割伤（例如碎玻璃片或者菜刀切菜时
不小心造成的伤口）、跌倒时候的擦伤等等，都可以用一种治疗仪器，很快就可以痊愈
了，本来伤口的愈合，就是细胞的变化，可能是运用了这个原理吧，太深奥的，我也说
不出来了。
再就是像感冒、发烧之类的就更加不用去医院了，这些病在现在都不是必须去医院的，
身体好点的人，自己在家里吃药就可以解决，所以未来在这方面会更加完善。
想想这应该是个符合社会发展规律的过程，比如古代人有一点点小病，也要去找人医治
，抓药也是先开方子再抓药，而现在的人可以自己去买药了，不用咨询诊治，自己就可
以买，根据一些说明或者久病成医的经验。
既然如此，到了未来，人们也会越来越聪明，说不定简单的医学会成为孩子们的必修课
，每个人都懂一些医学常识，这简直就是天大的进步了。

yes, ask HR first.
BS stuff, just rate him high. if it's said to be confidential, then it's
public.

谢谢！这哪里有官方新闻通知之类的吗？
再具体问一下，那我现在的签证stamp是今年一月的，已经过期了，是需要重新拿到新
的签证stamp才是一年多次？还是从我老的签证开始算一年，然后今年年底才过期了？

Don't be so cynical. If you don't exercise your rights, don't complain you
are not being treat fairly later. If it is BS, why company bother to do it.
In my company, every manager treats this kind of survey seriously.

1. 国务院网站自己查
2. 签证上写的是什么就是什么。旧签证的信息不会因为新的签证政策而改变。

还真有要下级给上级打分的,我还以为发错了.
我又仔细看了一下,给的是一个网上的link，选好了就按“done"就算submit了。好像不
用留名什么的，但是估计也是能知道是谁给打的。
