A little confused after reading bounch of info about vpn. sounds like to set
up a VPN, all need is VPN server (which can be a SIMPLY router wih VPN appliance)
and vpn client software. No cost! I also read, there are some called VPN
service providers, you pay monthly to use their specified secure tunnel in
order to build remote access to corporate network. can someone here clarify
on this issue? thanks :) which way you would like to take to connect a
branch office and head office at industry leve

Your question can have several alternative answers, you can connect
the two office using site to site IPsec VPN gateways. Or if you'd like
go with carriers, they may provide you MPLS based VPN (kind of like dedicated
line), these are for data if that is what you need to achieve, for integrated
IP voice etc, it can be a bit more complicated but not much new.
