I am planning to be a representive for a chinese company. The main products
are the chemical packings for chemical industry, which are well marketed in
china because of excellent quality. But I am not sure how to do the marketing
in USA since I'm a F1. I don't want to anything that violates the laws here.
So I am wondering if I could get any advice from here.
By the way, who happens to know if there is a chemical companies catalogy that
lists all of the chemical companies in USA? I remember in C

As an Fi VISA holder you cannot work. You
can start a company but you cannot work
for the company as a manager or employee.
Put it in anther word, you cannot get
paid by your company in ANY form.

Your stratup plan looks very practical, I bet you need to change your VISA
type. Anyway I suppose if you have enough fund for doing this, chances are you
will get everything going smoothly.
According to the chemical companies catalog, I suggest you consult the
AICHE by email or other ways, maybe they have some sort of things like that.

Thanks. Actually I will get paid from china directly. I don't intend to have
a company in states right now. I gues my role is kind of like intermediator
. I won't sign my name on the contract, if there is one. So I think it may
be legal since I don't get paid in states.
Yes, what I am worried about is the fund. Frankly, I figured the best way to
do this business is through the internet, which is relative cheap. I don't
want to invest much money on advertising at the very beginning, unless I thin

try to find some friend who is in that business, and they can
