我以为被屏蔽仅是因为共享服务器和共享ip，所以我问了godaddy可不可以买dedicated
server来解决这个问题, 他们说国内是按地域来屏蔽网站，所以说即使我买dedicated
ip 或dedicated server也不会彻底解决问题。而且国内是“解屏蔽”，就是屏蔽所有
然后预选泽的解屏蔽。所以买dedicated server也不能完全保证。
godaddy说解决办法只有在国内和国外租两个服务器。
大家有没有同样的问题，解决方法？谢谢。

想在国内开展业务还是用国内的服务器吧

我告訴你最好的辦法，就是推廣突破網絡封鎖軟件，比如無界
等河蟹知道老百姓厲害了，丫就不封鎖了

Not really. I got the same problem before, but asked the hosting company to
switch and avoid the server that is being blocked by Grat China Fire Wall.
So talk to your hosting firm and talk smart with them to avoid the over-
charge.
It's easy profit for them if you don't .

一般是按照IP来屏蔽的，也有可能是按照域名。很少安装地域或地址段来的。
我在共享空间的IP被被屏蔽后，购买一个专用的IP就好了。GoDaddy的空间
被屏蔽后，自己操作一下，也好了。

not sure why godaddy gave you that answer. but from my understanding, site
are blocked based on both domain name and ip. so usually switch ip will
solve the problem.
also I don't think it's true chinese government block all websites by
default.

right, should be based on domain name, ip address is not an issue.
I don't think godaddy customer support is that tech savvy.

Yes, I had blocked once before, I then switched shared hosting to a
different machine, which gave me a different ip, and that last 1 year and
half, but now this ip is blocked again.
I probably can do the trick again, but still, it is not an ideal solution.
That's why I asked godaddy those type of question.
I am willing to buy a dedicated ip, but godaddy said they don't guarantee
that the new ip is not already being blocked (in the blocking range).

如果你网站要从国内抓数据的话，有可能有问题，因为即使你用的是专用IP，
在共享主机里面，外界访问你的网站使用专用IP，但是你访问外界的IP还是
共享的IP。

The cheapest way is to use dedicated IP address. You must let your hosting
company to test if this one has been blocked before by Chinese sensorship.
If it is not, you will be ok later on. The best way is to use Dedicated
Server, it is costly too.
If you use cheap shared server, you will be blocked sooner or later because
of Pornorgraphic sites or anti-government sites shared same IP address with
your site.

a lot of shared hosting company provides dedicated IP address as well. i thi
nk at least site5 does
