I find nowhere to put it. commission is based on stock sale but nowhere to
put margin interest since is not associated to one stock.

just add it to your loss or deduct it from your gains
google it out or search irs.gov

you can make a fake transaction like this:
stock: Margin Interest
cost: 10
proceeds: 0
this way you can get a loss of 10
IRS will understand

正確來說MARGIN INTEREST 應該填在SCH-A的INVESTMENT INTEREST
SCHEDULE A - LINE 14
如果MARGIN數字很大，最好補上FORM 4952作補充。

BTW, Margin interest is not allowed in schedule D.

For most people, margin interest deduction is very little. It should add as
investment interest expense on line 1 of Form 4952.
Unless you paid thousands of margin interests, don't waste your time to fill Form 4952 and do not deduct your margin interest.
