Last week's China inflation numbers were "the 'a-ha' moment everyone was
looking for," said Christian Thwaites, chief executive of Sentinel
Investments in Montpellier, Vt.
"Investors are saying, 'China is overblown—there's inflation coming, and
they're going to have to tighten up their economy,"' said Mr. Thwaites. He
said China is strong enough to grow through any anti-inflation steps.
"China may have surprised people, but I think the market has overreacted,"
