Tesla reported 5,500 Model S deliveries in the third quarter, which some are
viewing as a disappointment. Deutsche Bank analyst Craig Irwin, who has a $
240 price target on Tesla, predicted 5,850 deliveries in his third-quarter
models.
For the fourth quarter, the electric-car company predicted slightly under 6,
000 Model S deliveries. It upped its full-year delivery forecasts to 21,500,
from 21,000 it unveiled in the previous quarter.

Expectation was too high. Their production is near 7000 but has cars in
transit to Europe. The setup was too long for this earnings. The story is
still on.
