"每天要躺下几个" is definitely an understatement.
but in most areas Mexico is still safe. I enjoyed my two week trip last year

I have been there 5 times, around christmas mostly.
If you dont stay in the border cities like Tijuana,
it is not unsafe at all.
I go to the tourist place in daytime and stay in
hotel room at night, never had any problem.
On the other hand, if you go to downtown Oakland,CA
good luck...

downtown oakland CA is okay. i have been there 100+ times, without carrying
a gun. Always carry a big knife though. LOL

Oakland 我太熟了，以前在那里上班，还好，Downtown白天去不算太乱，从来没有被抢
过，实际上绝大部分的城市晚上9点之前还是比较安全的。

过，实际上绝大部分的城市晚上9点之前还是比较安全的。
