Hi, I want to use sendmail in UNIX to send emails with attachments, both ASCII
and binary files.

如果只是想发几个文件，用uuencode处理一下直接发出去即可

uuencode is out dated. You should use MIME.

Thank you.. but I have to be honest I have no idea about neither MIME nor
uuencode. Can you write an example here? Or you suggest that I should read
something on MIME? hehehe:)

uuencode 比较老，但是个unix都有，
例如你想传一个test.gz文件：
uuencode test.gz test.gz >test.gz.uue
mail [email protected]
