question about digital unix# Unix - 噫吁兮，危乎高哉

I used SSH transfered some files to a Digital Unix computer,
After I used these files, I deleted them in SSH, it seemed that those deleted
files still on the Digital Unix computer, because when I tried to transfer
some other files with much smaller size, I could not succeed to do that.
I have thought those deleted files are in the trash box, but when I log on
the Unix computer, nothing is in the trash box. Also I saw a message "file
system full" in the console log.
Pls tell me where to find thos
