最近MSN要关。想起我三年前停用MSN的经历。
之前虽然表情少点，但是也用的挺多。
直到2009年的时候，但凡你登陆MSN同时又打开hotmail的同时，浏览器就会死上个2-5
分钟。原因是它里面非要在从浏览器登陆。
我以为是新版本的问题，想装回老版本，但还是不行。
恨的我是咬牙切齿！后来索性不登了。
这个问题似乎解决花了很长时间。
我不知道MSN这个傻B的bug是谁的idea，但我猜多半是好大喜功的阿三。
有没有人可以证实一下？

msn好多bug
超级垃圾
比如：
-视频聊天的按钮，经常是灰度的
-接通音频后，无法像skype一样随意开关视频

这个是真的，MSN 已被整合进skype了。新版的skype已有MSN

IE9现在开个新tab有时候都要好久才相应，win7下面event viewer展开也是超级慢

在国内，只有装逼的小资才用吧？
后来实在太难用，连装逼的小资也跑了。
hotmail也是一回事，
马勒隔壁的，两三个月不登录，直接把所有信件全清空，
操他妈，后来再也不用了。

The first one is not a bug, it is by design, I believe. (视频聊天的按钮，经
常是灰度的). You can argue whether it is a good or bad design decision,
though.
Now Messenger allows you to log on to different machines/devices at the same
time, including web messenger (when you log into hotmail, for example). Not
all of your logins allow you do video. So if the other party is in such
state, then you will see the video chat button disabled on your side. If you
ask your other party to sign-out from everywhere and only login to the
standard messenger client, you will see the video button enabled again.
I think this decision makes sense, because when you are connected to such a
user, Messenger doesn't know which is the real active login the this user is
using. If it enables the video chat button in such case, and the other
person happens to be active on web messenger, and you try to start a video
chat, it will not work, now you will say: stupid Messenger, the video can't
connect at all!
So maybe messenger can try to detect the real active login. But then again
another problem comes:
Since it allows you to login at multiple places simultaneously, it should
allow you to switch between them (or it is natural that some users will
expect so), but what if you switch from a video-cable login to a non-capable
login? What should happen to the current active video chat?
You can still argue that things can be solved this way or the other way, but
I believe it is a design decision problem, not a bug.
What's the best design decision to achieve the best user experience is
another problem. I agree that this is probably not the best user experience.
