Thanks to my coworkers who had been bartenders before, here is a list of
popular alcohol drinks in bars you might be interested. While no shot
included.

1. mai tai --- [mai tai] tropical and fruity
2. strawberry daquse --- [dakeri:] , also has Peach/Melon flavor
3. Pina Colada --- [pinia colada]

here is one very refreshing drink yet very simple to make:
1. add a few ice cubes to a rock glass (the kinda glass which is
about half the height of a normal glass you use to drink water);
2. add jack daniel's tennessee whiskey to 1/4 of the glass;
3. fill the glass with ginger ale (or coke, but ginger ale better);
4. garnish with a slice of lime or lemon (optional)
try it, and i am sure you will like it...

almost a year ago, a group of ppl have discussed a similar topic
on mix drinks for ladies... The one who led the discussion also
had a roommate who had been a bartender before. Quite some drinks
in the conclusion do not appear in jtian's post, so let me post it here.

just for a different flavor ya :)
for those who like tropical flavors, i think they may want
to try "mai tai".
for those who like creamy drinks, here is one really simple
to make but very delicious:
1. crush some ice cubes with your food processor, and fill
a rock glass with the crused ice (ice cubes will do if you
think crushing them is too much hassle);
2. pour in some "bailey's irish cream".
then, enjoy...
personally i don't like martini, but if i remember right,
gin and vodka are the two mai
