大家好，请教理财投资高手一个关于身份的问题。
我现在是F1学生，在湾区读书。觉得中国房地产、股票乃至整个经济都有一定程度的泡
沫想退出后投资美国不动产避险。请问F1学生能购买房子吗？需要什么注意的地方吗，
还是一切和购买生活用品相似？能购买几套房子？第一套和第N套的有区别否？
如果可以的话，今年年中年末就想购买。

大家给点意见，工程master毕业工作了一些年了，有身份，俩offer,
一个五百强大公司，福利不错，假期多，似乎不用加班，行业也算稳定，估计不难混，
面试感觉老板和peer都还不错。
一个咨询公司，福利也不错，医疗全包，假期一般，似乎需要加班，不知道稳定不稳定
，面试我的都是技术牛人，有几个问题问倒我了，汗。估计可以学不少东西，不过压力
不小。
咨询公司salary比五百强高将近两万。职场达人们给点意见。

yes you can, but there are some detail issue
how much fund do you have? how will you transfer fund from China to US?

if you are good, go for the consulting company.
if you are shitty, go for 500 company.
if you are very good, go ask 500 to match the salary

The majority of my fund is in China, I think I can by bank draft or money
order which only cost 0.1% fee?
I'm thinking about transferring 600K at the first attempt.
Also, is there any tax disadvantage if I am a non-resident student?

500强说match不可能，加一点没准可能，他们要review，不要把offer撤回了就好，呵呵

no deduction for property tax if nonresident alien; but since you're so rich

Thank you for your reply, big cow!
I'm not rich and it is actually my parents' money. So even a tiny little bit
of it would be more than my current earning power...
Greed is good, so is there any advantage of nonresident alien? :) probably
not.
Another worry of mine is about gift tax and FBI: will they suspect that I'm
trying to 洗钱 or evade legacy tax? I wish they won't because I'm a non-
resident.

Nonresident alien doesn't need to pay tax for oversea incomes.
Transfering any amount of money into US is legal, so nothing to worry about.
To avoid unnecessary suspicion, wire transfer might be a good choice.
