马丁·尼莫拉的忏悔诗本来是用来激励人们为正义而战。问题是,当你为正义被迫害了,你当然想报仇。如果敌人实力强大,你当然要韬光养晦,等实力足够了就卷土重来。这期间是很漫长的,在这期间,当你看见非正义的事情,你陷入了管还是不管的困境,管,耽误了韬光养晦;不管,岂不是为明哲保身找借口,成为水凉头痒的钱谦益吗?
司马迁就是陷入这困境,他为李陵仗义辩护,被汉武帝阉割,他发誓,他要写《史记》,把汉武帝写得一文不值。这时候他的好友任安被汉武帝判腰斩,他向司马迁求救。司马迁救和不救都是两难,救,司马迁要是丢了命谁写《史记》?不救?当初自己和李陵没有交情也为他辩护,何况任安是自己朋友?不救对不起良知。无论怎么选,对司马迁而言,都不是最好选择。可想而知他写《报任安书》是多么痛苦!
我不敢否认马丁·尼莫拉的忏悔诗,但是指责世道冷漠人人明哲保身之余,也应该问问类似司马迁的道德困境该如何破?
