• Commitment to complete a minimum of two semester rotations during your degree program enrollment.
• Pursuing a bachelor degree in Mechanical/Civil/Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical degree with a GPA of 2.8 or higher.
• Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to the university after the completion of the rotation.
• A rudimentary understanding of one of these OOP languages (C++, C#)

• To be considered for a Software Engineer position, you must possess the Objective Minimum Qualifications (OMQs) below. Please ensure that your application clearly indicates that you meet these OMQs, either on your resume and/or by uploading additional documents such as a transcript.

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree only, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Systems Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent major, completing your sophomore year only in summer 2023.

• Attend a university in the US.

• Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2023.

• Are proficient (e.g., can complete coding projects without any assistance) in one or more of the following computer languages:C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, SQL, NoSQL, PL/SQL, Go, or similar object oriented or functional programming languages

• Have academic coursework, completed projects, prior internship and/or research experience or equivalent in at least one of the following areas:Algorithms, Data Structures, Object Oriented Design, Database Systems, Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, Web/Mobile Technologies, Distributed Systems, Parallel Programming, Compilers.

• Have demonstrated experience (internships, projects, coursework) working on at least one of the following areas:Linux Operating Systems

• Web Services

• Compute Platforms (such as Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Storm, Ganglia, Nagios, openTSDB, Elasticsearch or others)

• Scrum & Agile Methodologies,

• Database (e.g. Data Structures, Database Management Systems, Relational Database),

• Computer networks (e.g. Networking, Network Security)

• Storage systems (e.g. Distributed Storage)

• Have no more than 12 months of professional full-time work experience in the technology field (excluding internships, research and/or teaching assistant roles, and military experience)
