主讲人简介

伊雷内·卡尔博利，美国德克萨斯大学法学教授，日内瓦大学法学院的学术研究员。伊雷内·卡尔博利教授的主要研究领域：知识产权法、商标法等。她曾在北美、欧洲和亚洲的几所大学担任访问职位，并于2018年在柬埔寨担任富布赖特专家学者。她还常担任国家政府和国际组织的专家，并曾经为世界知识产权组织，欧盟知识产权局以及几个国家知识产权局工作。

Profile

Irene Calboli，Professor of Law at Texas A&M University School of Law,Academic Fellow at the School of Law, University of Geneva. Irene’s research focuses on IP, International Trade, and Cultural Heritage Law. She held visiting position in several universities in North America, Europe, and Asia, and in 2018 was a Fulbright Specialist Scholar in Cambodia. She also regularly acts as an expert for national governments and international organizations, and she has conducted missions for the World Intellectual Property Organization, the EU Intellectual Property Office and Commission, and several national IP offices.

该门课程涉及时尚行业的相关法律问题，将会围绕以下8个方面展开讨论和学习：

•  “时尚” 的概念和相关产业

• 时尚产业如何保护创意

• 相关的知识产权保护：专利、商标版权、设计

• 例外和限制对时装行业的重要性

• 时尚对环境的影响，包括可持续性和生态时尚

• 时装行业的劳工标准和外包问题

• 新技术的影响，特别是新材料和3D打印   

• 时装业的商业惯例

Content

This course involves legal issues related to the fashion industry and will discuss and learn about the following aspects:

• The notion of “fashion” and related industries

• How creativity is protected in the fashion industry

• Relevant intellectual property protection: patents, trademarks copyright, and design

• The importance of exceptions and limitation for a dynamic fashion industry

• The environmental impact of fashion, including sustainable and eco-fashion

• Labor standards and outsourcing in the fashion industry

• The impact of new technology, in particular new materials and 3D printing   

• Business practices in the fashion industry
