Level 0 -
CHECKMATE - Students will learn basic checkmate patterns such as In your face checkmate, Back rank mate, Corridor checkmate, etc.
DEFENSE - Students will learn why it is important to defend in chess. They will learn how to defend using techniques like Move to a back up square, Run from danger, etc.
ENDGAME - Students will learn some basic endgame ideas and principles such as Cutting off your opponent, Passed pawn, Promote a passed pawn safely, etc
STRATEGY - Students will learn Castling principles, 3 ideas to draw an almost lost game, how to exchange pieces smartly, etc
TACTICS - Students will learn a tactic called Fork (double attack)
MISCELLANEOUS - In addition to the main 5 disciplines, students will learn some other techniques and ideas such as Fools mate opening trap, Scholar's mate opening trap, how to checkmate using only a King and Queen against a lone King, how to checkmate using only a King and Rook against a lone King, Rook roller/ladder style checkmate, etc..
Level 1 -
CHECKMATE - Students will learn the same checkmate patterns they learned in level 0, such as In your face checkmate, Back rank mate, Corridor checkmate, etc., however, the checkmates will be slightly harder than level 0.
DEFENSE - Students will learn how to escape a check - whether by attacking the piece that is checking, blocking, or King moving out of check. They will learn decision-making and choose the best options and defend properly.
ENDGAME - Students will learn some intermediate endgame principles and ideas, such as a Buddy system, Pawn race, Sacrifice to clear the path of a passed pawn, Deny a passed pawn to your opponent, etc.
STRATEGY - Students will learn all the Chess opening principles and theory related to Chess opening. In addition, they will learn decision making on which side to safely castle their King, and how to make smart opening moves while applying the opening principles.
TACTICS - Students will learn tactics such as pins, forks, and skewers.
Level 2 -
CHECKMATE - Students will learn how to set up back-rank checkmate, In your face checkmates, etc. Learn some checkmating patterns using the Knight.
DEFENSE - Students will learn how to escape a check - they will learn decision making and choosing a better option to defend the check while not getting into a checkmate situation.
ENDGAME - Students will learn 5 advanced endgame principles, which will improve their endgame strength.
STRATEGY - Students will learn about pawn structure. They will learn 2 weaknesses in pawn structure and how to exploit these weaknesses in their opponent's position. They will also learn how to destroy their opponent's pawn structures and win the game faster.
TACTICS - Students will learn 6 advanced tactics - such as Discovered check, Decoy, Deflection, etc.
Level 3 -
CHECKMATE - Students will learn how to solve advanced checkmate in 2 moves, use baits to checkmate, Greek gift sacrifice, etc.
DEFENSE - Students will learn about preventing back rank checkmate, how to give "luft" (breathing room) to the King to avoid back rank checkmate, etc
ENDGAME - Students will learn very advanced endgame principles, such as the "opposition/flank" techniques, "opposition/flank" reverse tempo, Zugzwang, etc.
STRATEGY - Students will learn some advanced techniques on how and where to strategically place their pawns, minor pieces and major pieces.
TACTICS - Students will learn how to create advanced forks, win material by pinning, pressurizing a pinned piece, etc.
