美防长道歉，“拜登回应”
据美国有线电视新闻网（CNN）报道，美国国防部长劳埃德·奥斯汀2月1日就自己隐瞒前列腺癌诊断和住院治疗一事道歉，说自己“没有正确处理这件事”。
“I should have told the president about my cancer diagnosis. I should have also told my team and the American public, and I take full responsibility,” Austin said. “I apologize to my teammates and to the American people.”
“Frankly, my first instinct was to keep it private. But I’ve learned from this experience, taking this kind of job means losing some of the privacy that most of us expect. ” Austin added.
