由陈滢如带来的艺术家讲座——“曼陀罗途径：连结自我与宇宙的创作实践”将于2022年10月22日，北京时间14:00-15:30，线上举办。在讲座中，陈滢如将讨论自己探索内在的旅程，以及她近年来对于萨满和灵性主义的学习——这些学习探索不仅影响了陈滢如近年来的创作，也颠覆了她长久以来对线性时间的观念。同时，她将分享这时期创作历程，以及现下于上纽ICA展出的作品《音波驱动》(2018—进行中)。

The Way to Mandala: The Artistic Practice of Connecting the Self to the Universe
In this talk, Yin-Ju Chen will discuss her introspective journey—first with astrology and tarot, all the way to Taiwanese folk beliefs, which are a mix of Buddhism and Taoism, and even UFO conspiracy theories that have become popular worldwide, as well as her recent exploration of shamanism—and how these “paths of redemption” have influenced her art creation in recent years and have subverted her long-standing conception of linear time. She will also introduce her art creation during this period: Liquidation Maps (2014), Action at a Distance (2015), Extrastellar Evaluations (2016), Extrastellar Evaluations III: Entropy: 25800 (2018); works she created when learning shamanism: Notes on Psychedelics (2015), Notes on Psychedelics II: Inside a Memorable Fancy (2018–2019); her latest work Notes on Psychedelics III: 2-19-20 (2021); as well as the project Sonic Driving (2018–ongoing) on display at the ICA at NYU Shanghai.
