It ain't over till the fat lady sings.
It ain't over till the fat lady sings. Nothing is irreversible until the final act is played out.
It is not over yet.
The Ring of the Nibelung里的一个熟悉角色,名叫Brunnhilde,常常由胖胖女子扮演,在最后十几分钟或近二十分钟里压轴独唱(歌剧很长,长达14多个小时)。所以, 'When the fat lady sings' is a reasonable answer to the question 'when will it be over?'
As long as the organ is playing, church is not out.
Don't count your chickens until they're hatched.
Nothing is carved in stone.
It ain't over till it is over.( Yogi-ism, 源自一棒球选手)(Thanks to "汤圆妈妈”)
