小弟不才，3月面试了一个学校，最后一个candidate的面试是4月初，这都过去一个月
了，发信去询问状态，得到如下回信
Dear xx,
I understand that you may have another offer already. To give you an update
from the search committee on our end, the search process is still ongoing,
and if you're still interested in coming to our university, I would suggest
to get an extension for your other offer.

这个是啥意思？我理解的是我不是top candidate， 他们在等别人回复，我能接着问下
到底要等到什么时候吗？等等等等的好心焦......也不能就这样无休止的一直等吧，还
是就算了。
