求助！关于highway 上的expresslane的double solid white lanes# Automobile - 车轮上的传奇

本人不小心误上了I-10的付费express lane （需要fasttrak transponder才能上的),
这个expresslane的入口和regular 入口很近，GPS需要仔细看才能看清。 上了之后发
现走错，第一反应就是从express lane 换到左道出来。这样就cross 了expresslane的
doulbe solid while line，然后刚好悲剧地被警察看到了。。。
需要上法庭，想请问这样地情况怎么才能说明自己不guilty呢？或者可以减少罚款么？
偶是穷学生一个。。。
那个metro expresslane 官网上“The I-110 and I-10 Metro ExpressLanes will
operate 24/7 and will be separated from the general purpose lanes by double
solid white lines. The fine for crossing the double solid white lines is a
minimum of $491. ”
我的理解上我们不想为了贪图方便，从非expresslanes 换到 expresslane去，而是发
现自己上错了，想换出来。。
而且一直以为double solid yellow lane是不可以cross的，没上过这种收费公路，不
知道这么严重。。
要怎么辩护才能证明自己不guilty或者减少罚款呢，请有经验人士支招。。不甚感激！
