It seems that most ppl would like to category bioinformatics
to CS, though it is definitely true that it depends quite
much upon implementation using computational methods. However,
I would rather regard bioinformatics more as biology. If you
take a look at all the programs, from BLAST, PSI-BLAST, GeneScan,
or some sort of promoter prediction programs, you will see
that coding with dynamic programming is pretty easy, compared
with all the research on algorithm.I think most of the really
